This is a stylistic and content precedent. Every frame of this cartoon is worthy of framing. The colors and framing of every scene is masterful. The violence and action is great too. and it it is all achieved very minimally.

This is my third precedent. The city in this movie is a character that slowly drives Travis Bickle crazy. until he can’t live with himself and goes over the edge. The character of my story will borrow much from his character, and his environment.

My second precedent. The style of animation is subtle yet effective and the use of color is very compelling. The main character is very strong and capable of carrying the story and his nemesis is well done as too. The integration of video and animation adds gravity to the subject. I think its a little jarring sometimes and could perhaps use some effects to tone it down, but over all its a nice addition.

This is my first precedent. Its storyline contributes to the plot of my thesis, in that there is some sort of alien conspiracy afoot. Second is the theme that pits indomitable heroes against forces greater and stronger than they are. Last but not least is the over the top violence and cheesy oneliners.
